Vinales, Pinar del Rio

Viñales is an agricultural area, where crops of fruit, vegetables, coffee and especially tobacco are grown by traditional methods. Fishing is also an important part of the area's economy.

El Capitolio, or National Capitol Building in Havana, Cuba

It was the seat of government in Cuba until after the Cuban Revolution in 1959, and is now home to the Cuban Academy of Sciences. Its design and name recall the United States Capitol in Washington, D.C., but it is only superficially similar.

Varadero, Matanzas

Varadero is a resort town in the province of Matanzas, Cuba, and one of the largest resort areas in the Caribbean. Varadero is also called Playa Azul, which means "blue beach".

The Malecon

The Malecón is a broad roadway and seawall which stretches along the coast in Havana, Cuba. You will see people fishing, kids swimming, musicians playing their instruments and, of course, tourists.
